Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Substrate, software for sign and print shops operated by Better Sign Shop, LLC (“we” or “us”). By creating an account or using Substrate, you agree to them.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. The person who sets up a shop decides who joins it and what each teammate can do, and is responsible for activity in that shop.

Your shop’s information

Your shop owns the information it puts into Substrate. You give us permission to store and process it only to run Substrate for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to use the customer information you add.

Email and text messages

When you send email or texts through Substrate, you are responsible for having your recipients’ permission and following the laws that apply. Only text people who agreed to receive texts, and stop when they ask. Texts Substrate sends are covered by our SMS Terms.

Payments

Payments in Substrate are processed by Stripe and are also subject to Stripe’s terms. Paid plans are billed as shown when you subscribe.

AI features

Some features use AI to draft prices, messages, and other content. AI output can be wrong. Review it before you rely on it or send it to a customer.

Acceptable use

Do not use Substrate to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, or interfere with Substrate or other people’s use of it. We may suspend accounts that do.

Changes to Substrate

Substrate is under active development. Features may change, and we may update these terms. We will post updated terms here with a new effective date.

Ending your account

You can stop using Substrate at any time. To close your account or delete your shop’s information, contact us.
